eBay member thysell192 filed a SECOND claim against me last night for $22.62, 171 days after the original transaction, for the first purchase that he'd made from me a week before the second purchase that PayPal went ahead and dinged me $75.62 for.
PayPal, of course, froze my account again. So I phoned again, except this time I went on full offense and asked one simple question.
Me - "You can see the amount of seller transactions I made in that time period, all without a single hitch. Can I ask you maybe how many claims Mr Sweden has put through in the last little while?"
PayPal person - "Well, we're not allowed to give out that information, but as a one time courtesy I'm going to wipe this dispute from your account."
Me- "Well, thank ya very much!"
The first case is still under review, mayyyyybeeeeeeee I've got a win coming.

I lost the first case, they refunded his money. And the exchange rate fluctuated in between PayPal seizing my money and the refund so I was short another $3.44 CDN so my account was frozen for a THIRD TIME. So ANOTHER phone call hammered that out..........................
Oh well.
Seller 5549marshall likes to charge for Xpresspost but also likes to stick a $1.80 stamp on a bubbler when his card doesn't sell for what he hoped to get.
That's it for today :D

I have no problem paying Xpresspost fees, if that's what you want to do (and it's made clear in your auction). $10 for Xpress shipping? Cost of doing business sometimes. I feel like I'm being ripped off when someone charges $4 for shipping. $10 ?? I'd demand a refund.

Ok, the good news is that the Xpresspost seller is refunding me 10 bucks.
The so-so news is that I phoned PayPal AGAIN. I got transferred to claims and gave them all my info as well as Frenchy's info. While I can't get my original $60 back, Tysell192 is now under fraud investigation after the nice lady opened up his file!!
So yay for something :/

This isn't specifically a hockey issue, but this is the best place I've seen to discuss eBay problems so I figured I'd ask. I won a lot of 400 cards along with some sealed product, and when they arrived the looses cards came in 3 bundles, each "sealed" with plastic wrap, and then bundled together with another piece of plastic wrap. 2 of the bundles show a good amount of warping in the middle, while the description said pack quality. How would you go about talking to the seller about it? These are supposed to be for display, so I'm a little disappointed

Wow! Buyers on ebay are insane. Paying upwards of $275 for a McDavid YG. Seen 3 auctions today all go for about that amount. I figured $75 would get a deal done. I was way off.

eBay has essentially killed me as a seller. I sold off this card 10-11 UD Young Guns Spectrum HG #482 Anders Nilsson 1/10 to Johan Öhman, DOCENTVÄGEN 79, 97752 LULEĹ, Sweden (eBay ilysex2012). Should have tipped me off when he didn't even BO the card and of course he claimed the card never arrived and I lost. The best part? Getting charged an "eBay reimbursement charge" AFTER I had to give final value back AND paying the eBay fees. I'm done...it's bad enough that they charge a fee on shipping but they clearly give zero sh*ts about sellers, the folks who make their money. Sorry if this is the wrong place to vent, this has just been making me mental for weeks...

This is the thing about eBay: they don't consider *you* (the seller) to be their customer. They consider the buyer their customer. So you are correct - they really don't care about you in the context of this transaction. Sad but true.
