Happens to me too. I have recently double check their addresses in canadapost to ensure it’s accurate. A lot of them do not put av, rue, chemin, Blvd, etc in their ebay address. So now I input the postal code into canadapost and use the address format that they spit out.

Haven’t had a lost package since. Not sure if that is related or not.....

That drives me bonkers. It seems like people in Quebec (and I'm from Montreal originally, so I can gripe) have an aversion to listing the type of street they live on, or using capital letters. Why?

Here is an eBay issue I cannot wrap my head around.

When listing cards there used to be 'Card Attributes' with many boxes of options you simply click which ones pertain to the card.

Well, that's disappeared. Card Attributes is still there, but you can only have one. Also, when typing Team or Player, or Brand you used to just be able to type 'New' and you would get New York Rangers, New York Islanders etc. That doesn't happen anymore.

Fed up of this I went to an old listing with many attributes. Yep, all gone except 1.

What in the he double hockey sticks is going on!?

    Any ideas?

Im new to the ebay store thing and am about 10 days into mine. Does it take a while to get more views, do views come as you list more things, and is there a best/proven method to draw more people to your store?

    thanks for any help

Here is a new one I have never dealt with. Please give me your opinion. I received this message tonight:

I received the card, but there was a problem. When I went to take it out of the penny sleeve, the autograph portion of the card was stuck to the sleeve. I can send you a scan of the card if you like, but it ruined the autograph on this card.

I feel that I did my part in getting them the card in the condition it was described. What happens to the card after they get it is not my issue. I will likely refund them anyway as it was only 99 cents and I'd rather not risk a negative, but in your opinion have I done what I am supposed to do, mail the card they ordered in the condition it was described in? I mean if I get a card and drop it I cant go after the seller as its not their fault. Its not my fault they pulled it out of the penny sleeve and it pulled the autograph off.

That's a tough one. Fortunately like you said, it's an inexpensive card. However, if I were the buyer of let's say a Gretzky or McDavid auto and it came in a top loader and penny sleeve, the first thing I would do when I got it would be to take it out of the toploader and sleeve and put it in a one-touch and if the card was stuck to the sleeve and was ruined by taking it out (through no fault of my own as the card should be able to be removed without damage), I would think there was a previous issue (glue or something else spilled on the card, melted sleeve, not sure what else would cause a card to stick). Considering most sellers/traders re-use top loaders and sometimes sleeves, the ability to change sleeves should be standard practice and in some cases, required, since there could be writing or stickers on the sleeve. Now if I were to damage the card AFTER taking it out of the sleeve, then that would be entirely on me.

When questions like this are broached I always say what would you do if the situation was reversed.

As Drunken Monkey said you want the card arrive in good condition. If anything happens to the card after it on you. Of course many people cannot be honest when something happens sad to say.

At least it was a inexpensive card as you said.

eBay Winning Bidders Who Do Not Pay

This is particularly frustrating now that we are entering the holiday season where there is a mailing deadline.

I had found a really hot new basketball card in my collection and put it up on eBay. It sold for $66, and the winning bidder never paid. He had decent past buying feedback but hadn't completed a purchase in over a year.

Now it is probably going to sell in the $20s or $30s since most of the ones that want this card has it (non-numbered parallel). Dude cost me $30 and now I need to recapture my final value fees!!

I guess this happens quite a bit since they eliminated buyer feedback. I blocked this buyer, is there any other action you guys take in this situation or anything preventative that I can put in my listing?

There's very little you can do. Perhaps state in your listing that payment must be received within X days or a non payer will be entered.

Luckily I've rarely if ever experienced it. Some people can take a week, but they pay in the end

Im new at ebay and I despise it as a seller. For example list a card for say 20 which is low for that card and someone offers 4. Or tonight, a guy says what can I do for a bulk order because my prices are low, so I tell him, and he wants 5 cards. Bulk?
Its pretty frustrating, I wont last long on ebay. Ill just absolutely blow out the cards I have soon

anddddddddddddd I shut my store down
no patience for some of these people

watch for my cards to show up for sale on here for ridiculously low prices

It can be frustrating but in the end you just have to be patient. As for all those lowballs I am amazed at some of the bin and some of the bids of certain cards when they do hit eBay.

Sorry to hear about ya shutting it down but many sites and other places to move cards besides the ole BAY.
