Only thing you could do is contact the seller and see if he can contact the buyer for you.

Message from seller: "When are you planning on paying? I want to get this sent out?"
.... I paid last week :)
So I check the paypal transaction, and it's still "unclaimed". Seller has likely put a typo in their email address. Simple to fix, right? Send them a message with the paypal address, and hopefully they can figure out the problem.
EXCEPT FOR "MY PROTECTION", EBAY WON'T LET ME SEND EMAIL ADDRESSES THROUGH MESSAGES.

I sold a card on eBay for $100 dlvd and shipped it on April 4th. The buyer is located in Indonesia and they opened a claim 2 days ago stating it still hasn't arrived. I let the buyer know that sometime international shipping can take awhile and he agreed to wait another week.
I'm wondering, if in a week it hasn't 'shown up' am i basically just out the $100? I didn't ship with tracking (I know stupid me), so there's no proof of it being delivered or not. They have already put the funds on a temporary hold.

Came across that same issue a few months ago. Absolutely ridiculous

Yes, you're unfortunately going to lose that case and your money.
The buyer may have legitimately not received the card, but I've also heard of unscrupulous buyers who will make claims on pretty much anything that arrives without tracking - especially overseas buyers, who can easily blame their postal systems or Customs. It doesn't happen much with hockey since our market is heavily North American, but I know a lot of basketball sellers who refuse to ship internationally due to so many problems with deals to Asia.

Thank you for the input Craig, i figured i was pretty much S.O.L on this. Funny that you mention basketball because the card was actually a custom basketball card. Luckily it is, like i said before, a custom so it's not as bad as if it were a pack pulled card. Looks like i will be charging shipping with tracking for all orders over $50 to everywhere but Canada and US. (customs form is tracking to Canada now which is good and much cheaper)

Sold an Item on April 21st to a buyer in the USA. He paid on the 23rd, I shipped on the 25th. He left positive feedback for me 5 days ago saying everything was good.
Then today he opens a case for a refund.
Comment: Never received.
The card cost $2.99 plus shipping, not even sure why he would waste his time.
I've sent him a message asking for an explanation, but my question to you guys is this:
If he already left me positive feedback saying everything was good, will he win a case and get a refund?

Regardless of the positive feedback, without being able to provide a tracking number you're likely going to lose the dispute. The buyer could claim that feedback was left mistakenly, even though that seems unlikely to be the truth. I'm curious to hear their explanation, assuming they even respond.
I feel bad for Canadians selling cards to our southern neighbors, when there are shady characters pulling stunts over $5.

FWIW when I was still having my PayPal funds held as a new seller I tried to have the funds from a sale released once I received positive feedback. My argument was if they were holding my funds to make sure I wasn't trying to rip people off, the positive feedback would be the proof that we're good to go. As far as ebay/paypal were concerned, the feedback meant less than squat for anything.

Is this shilling?
EBAY SHILLING?? - Want your opinion
I am always on the lookout for sellers who use shill bidders to inflate prices on items I have bid on. Ebay is certainly making it harder since they don't show user names on bid lists.
However, I've come across a situation that makes me very suspicious that it is shill bidding and want to know what others think.
-- Suspected "bidder" increased high bid by almost 50%
-- Suspected "bidder's" last thirty list shows that 29 of 30 (96%) of items bid upon were from the same seller
-- Suspected "bidder" won 26 of 29 items bid on, all from the same seller.
and here are the red flags for me
-- Suspected "bidder" has not left any feedback for the seller. Seems odd. Feedback over 1000 so they know it's important. Win 26 items and not leave feedback for a single one?
Also
-- Seller has not left any feedback for suspected "bidder". Despite the bidder "buying" 26 items in the past month, the seller has not left any feedback. I checked the "feedback left for others" of the seller, viewed the closed auctions of people who bought multiple items from the seller and none of those buyers match the feedback score of the suspected "bidder".
Long story short... I think I am being shilled. Auction closes in four days, so I have time decide about bidding again. Opinions would be appreciated.Hidden Content
