You need to sign up for a snipe service. I use bidnapper.com. Works flawlessly. It's only $30 a year I think.

can anyone help me?
Hello everyone.
So Ive bought a card off ebay for $400 +shipping and taxes comes to $430 ish. well the way I pay is I can only pay maximum $200 at a time. Ive been buying like that ever since I had a problem with paypal with my bank, so I dont link any personal info except my adress name ect...
Anyways I contacted the seller to ask for his paypal adress so I can send it in 3 trasactions, he said no only 1 transaction. Ive never had this problem before. Everyone always gives it to me and I pay right away. anyways I am asking for anyone to send me $260 CND or USD paypal and I will shoot the payment back right away but in 2 transactions. If I use a $200 prepaid gift card with money already in my account ($260) it will combine them and they will accept the payment.
So I am willing to send $275 CND to anyone that can send me the $260 in either CND or USD
If you dont get what I mean but you think you might be able to help please reply to this post.
I can send the $275 over tomorrow night.
Thanks everyone
Brent

Looking for independant opinions
I listed a card for sale recently. The card was an UD advertising insert promoting 08-09 Artifacts. The front of this insert showed a Malkin Autofacts card along with NHL, UD and NHLPA logoa and some small print about the ad. The back of the card describes the upcoming Artifacts release.
I tried to be very careful with the listing. I did not want to confuse anyone or "trick" them into thinking they were getting a real Malkin Auto card.
Wouldn't you know it. I get a message from eBay saying the buyer has filed an "Item not as described" complaint against me. The buyer says he was "expecting to receive the actual card". By "actual card" I assume he means the Malkin Autofacts card.
I would love for anyone to check out the listing and give me your opinions. Was it misleading? Would a reasonable person expect to get a Malkin Autograph Card for $6? I would love to hear opinions (good or bad).
Here is the listing:

Regardless, I have offered the buyer a refund if he wishes to return the item. But, I still would like to know if my listing was out of bounds.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been trying to get a 06-07 Hot Prospect Shield 1/1 card for a common player. The seller has listed it several times with an asking price of $1,999.00 and will not budge off that price!!
Seriously, Hot prospects shields for minor players have been selling in the $100 - $500 range. Stars are selling for more, but $1,999 for a guy who isn't even the NHL anymore?
I would love to make a deal with this guy, but he asking price is way to high and he will not negotiate.

Looks like the buyer can't read. get the card back and refund them, block them as well! People rush to bid and don't read descritpions or even look at pictures. If that was the actual Malkin auto it wouldn't have sold for $6

So i had my first dispute opened against me today on Ebay. I sold something for $6.05 with free shipping, stupid me i didnt send with DC but i recieved positive feedback from the guy a week ago so i though everything was good until i check today and see the funds are 'Placed' and are on hold in paypal as of today. Well i look into it and it says that either him or the bank are requesting their funds back? I sent a photo of the shipping receipt since thats all i have but whats the worst that can come from this? Theyve already left positicve feedback and seemed happy so its kind of surprising that this has been opened???? If anyone could give me any info if theyve been in a similar situation thatd be awesome

If they're claiming now that they didn't receive the item, then you're probably going to lose the case. The fact that they left positive feedback doesn't mean much (they could claim it was left in error), and without a DC number there's obviously no proof of delivery. It stinks that you could lose the money from this sale, although it could have been much worse if a high-value item was involved.
Does it give any detail regarding his claim? Nothing like "item not received" or "item not as described"?
Hope this works out for you.

Thanks for the info Craig! This is what it says (Below). Im a bit confused by it and i dont think they actually disputed it through ebay but rather just paypal. I havent gotten any info through ebay about it just the open case stuff in paypal, or is that normal? Im not too worried about it as it was only like $6 im just trying to figure out if it was them who did it or their bank possibly since its a bank reversal, i dont know haha. I mean this person have almost 2000 feedback at 100% pretty much all as a buyer.
Reason for Dispute: Inquiry
edit: on the other part it says
Reason: Inquiry bank return
Not much different but thought id add that inLast edited by DnJcards; 09-12-2013 at 01:41 AM.
