I recently won and received this card right when Prime was released. I have not scanned this card yet, but do have it in my possession.

Doing my daily "Luongo" search, I come across this one:

The patch is the exact same. My serial number is 5/8 ... while the one up for auction is 6/8.

Still very happy with my card ..... just .... I made an offer on this expecting it to be the only 1 of its kind. And now I see there is basically another identical copy out there, or so it seems.

I am messaging the seller, asking him to send me a scan with his name and the date on it.

My guess is these swatches are about a quarter of the Johnny Canuck patch, believe they had one patch on each shoulder, so it looks like Panini took both shoulders from one jersey, cut them in quarters, and made the total print run of 8 cards from them.

Saw a video recently, on the Panini website showing how they use templates to ensure they get the maximum number of patches out of each crest / logo. Since they are using the same template for each patch, I can absolutely understand why two swatches may look the same if there were two patches to choose from.

I smell Shill on a large scale. I have not bothered to look beyond this page. But when Radek Bonk and Valeri Bure base cards even get bids on any of their cards I am suspicious. Jeff Hackett and other base cards flying off this site.

I have been at this far too long to suspect that anyone with 3,600 feedback would bid on worthless cards. Tons of worthless Panini Stickers with bids as well.
