Then it's probably on the way... I'd just be patient.
I've had cards take 3-4 weeks (for whatever reason) to go across Canada. You have 45 days to file a claim anyhow, no reason not to let it play out...

I hate when people open a case or even message me after 2 weeks or less has passed wondering where their card(s) is. Have some patience people. You'll get your cardboard. I live on Vancouver Island and shipped a high end bball card to florida on a holiday long weekend and had the buyer complain about getting the item 4 days later than he thought he should. I was so pissed off. "that's 4 days that I don't have my item". Jerk!

i wasn't planning on opening a case as stated.....
"I plan on waiting a little bit longer but is filing a claim after that too drastic?"
i was planning on giving it more time before deciding what to do since he won't be back until September. I'm more then willing to wait until the last day before i can file claim but i prefer not to do that if there are alternatives and was wondering what those alternatives would be.

If he's away and therefore not responding to messages, you don't have any alternatives.

I know we had a discussion here about counter-offering on OBOs on ebay and I have a question for you guys.
I have a 30 OBO lot of 3 cards on ebay. I know one of the cards in the lot went for around $10 on its own before (FWA). Yesterday I got an offer of $6.50 for all three cards. Should I even bother counter-offering, or is a "low-ball" offer like this just not even worth responding to?

respond. nothing worse than offering and never hearing anything back. Just be firm on price and hopefully they will get the picture.
