    Something Fishy here:

    http://stores.ebay.com/DJ-Sports-Cards-Store/Hockey-Cards-/_i.html?rt=nc&_fsub=12628736&_sid=19053&_trksid=p4 634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=7

The two previous pages before this, tons of bids on 10 cent, and 15 cent cards. This whole page of ProSet with bids on worthless cards.

I smell Shill on a large scale.

Maybe it's the 4 hours sleep last night talking, but why would he intentionally do this to himself? The final-value fees for cards that don't actually sell would add up after a while, no?

I smell Shill on a large scale. I have not bothered to look beyond this page. But when Radek Bonk and Valeri Bure base cards even get bids on any of their cards I am suspicious. Jeff Hackett and other base cards flying off this site.

I have been at this far too long to suspect that anyone with 3,600 feedback would bid on worthless cards. Tons of worthless Panini Stickers with bids as well.

The seller of these auctions is an active member on a number of hobby sites and has an impeccable reputation. I seriously doubt that there is anything fishy going on as you allege. Perhaps you should do some research before you start badmouthing people.

Yea, I'll vouch for the seller as well. Have dealt with him numerous times, and he's top notch. Highly doubt he's up to anything fishy.

The seller really looks legit, what I cannot figure out is so many bids on so many more than common base cards of marginal players that are obtainable for peanuts.

I have listed base cards of Pavel Bure, Brodeur, and several Hall of Famers. I am selling at 20 cents per card less than this guy, and it probably takes me 2 full years to move 40 Brodeur base, at .80 cents - $1.00, let alone slugs like that toiled in obscurity for 2-3 seasons in 1991.

yeah as i am not sure who this seller is i would go with it does look funny, but i also respect fellow scf members if they say he isnt, but yes who would buy common crappy base cards of nobodys for 1$ each, seems awfully weird to me

Isnt this thread for EBAY ISSUES?? Meaning u deal with a person on ebay, got screwed or whatever problem u had with that person, then u post it here to let others knw about ur horrible experience!!

Lately Im seein a lot of posts on this thread that arent related to an ebay experience w/ a seller/buyer,more like accusing someone without having evidence or proof!

Correct me if im wrong! thx

Needing to be on guard for shill bidding is an ebay issue. Getting open opinions from other collectors is related to that. Same goes for questions of fake patches and auto, I suppose, though once in awhile you do see a case in here that should probably be a stand alone thread.

So I disagree with you and that's why.

Been having problems of late on Ebay with buyers from Quebec specifically St. Jerome & Quebec City. Buyers claiming not to receive cards about 6 packages in 2 weeks. Anyone else having these problems. All different buyers, only fishy thing is for each city the claims seem to be from address abiut 10-15 minutes away from each other.
