I really hope Couch has a great game (I think he will)
It really boils down to Butch Davis & Holcomb is his guy ~ I think Couch and Butch have a conflict with each other!
It's a wait and see thing right now ~ Right now im totally not impressed with Holcombs games.
But i am a big Couch fan myself also

Dwain - I'm defenitely in agreement with you...I haven't been impressed with Kelly at all this season.Last sunday's game was a prime example of "winning ugly". I think Tim and Butch do have some kind of conflict with each other,although I dont think it began until recently.Butch is also getting an extremely big ego on his hands and it's interfering with his football decisions.I know I dont like Holcomb but that was plain ridiculous on sunday.He could barely move and Davis claimed that 'he was fine.' What kind of coach wants to risk the physical health of their starting quarterback just to get the win?

So the question is:
Do you favor Couch at the expense of the team?
Or is this loss due to Couch not having been able to play the first 3 games of the season; thus, he was rusty and etc, etc....
see Gus Frerrotte, QB reserve who torched the 49ers for 4 TDs in a 35-7 romping!

Pod, Couch threw for 180 yards and 2 TD's 1 int. ~ Avg game but thats more than Holcomb has threw for all year!
The problem was the O-Line couldnt block anything and the D couldnt hit anybody & penalties killed the browns! + Once again not much of a running game!
When it's Couch's job to block, tackle, cover, run or catch the ball maybe we can blame him. :)
Did you watch the game? Couch was not the problem even though he didnt make the great comeback victory that everyone is use to seeing. He was the only bright spot on the team!
Other factors is what lost the game for the Browns!

Alrighty my thoughts....
*Tim's stats are as followed: 23/36,264 yards passing,2 TD's,1 INT.I couldn't have asked for anything better of him and I don't think anyone else should either!!Hell it's not like he'll see playing time again because Butch Davis has made it very clear,in my opinion,that he does not want him as the QB.With the exception of the INT in the 4th quarter I think he did darn good!!
*Ok...shall I call for Quincy Morgan's head yet?Because he...a)stalled a very good drive by letting his stone hands get the best of him and b)was called for NUMEROUS penalties...but I'll get to the penalties soon enough.
*Where was the defense??Someone please tell me this because we made John Kitna look like a freaking Pro-Bowler!!!JOHN KITNA IS NOT THAT GOOD!!!!!! Last week Dave Campo had our D up in Jeff Garcia's face all day,this week there wasn't any pressure to be found within walking distance of the field.DAVE CAMPO NEEDS TO MAKE UP HIS MIND - PRESSURE OR NO PRESSURE!?!!! For crying out loud already...
*And speaking of pressure what in the blue hell was the o-line doing letting all that pressure up on Couch,granted he was only sacked once (or was it twice,i dunno) but for crying out loud if they would have pressured him any more I'd really rather not like to think about what would have happend.
*I hate you Butch Davis....I always like to say that I intensly dislike,but Butch I truly hate you.Stop making excuses for this team because you my friend are one of the problems.This is not college football anymore and we are not the Miami Hurricanes.I know you do not want to publicly bash your players but I'm not even seeing that,I'm seeing you making a bunch of excuses to cover up for the fact that WE SUCKED!!!!!!!
*And my final thought....WE GOT BEAT....BY THE BENGALS?!?!??!?!!?!
