I get hit with that a lot with being in ireland for 10 $1 cards i could be asked for $40 shipping when I know damn well it don't cost that much

However, the quote above is a valid point. You are not supposed to charge extra s/h per eBay's rules to recoup auction fees or to get more for the item than you would have without the extra shipping. In this regard, the seller is in the wrong, imho.

That really does suck and there really isnt much you can do about it. He is going to charge you $30 for shipping when it is going to cost him maybe $1.50, thats tough.

I would tell him if he is going to charge you for mailing them seperately then you want them seperately . I know it isn't going to fly but it can't hurt to try . Personally I think that the seller is a shmuck for doing that . I sell on ebay and charge only a quarter for each additional even overseas . I'd wait for him to give you feedback and then give him neutral not negative and put that you got your cards , but he wouldn't combine shipping .

Report him to ebay. They will NARU him (or at least warn him) if he charges excessive shipping. It's in the rules.
