    Smile Jersey Card Question

I don't know if this has been discussed, but Here's my question.

I've noticed recently that alot of the newer jersey cards are being pulled out of the packs with these "Jersey Creases" (The tiny creases on the corners of the swatch cutout area). My question is, Are these "Jersey Creases" allowed on the cards and still be considered NM? I've made several trades in the past few weeks and a number of the jersey cards I've gotten has these creases, but no mention of them when I made the trades.

    What's your opinion on these?

    Chris

    I've noticed this too.
Grading is a method of determining how a card's quality compared to a "perfect" card. So no, those cards are not considered NM.
What is happening more and more is that instead of putting NM in trade descriptions, traders can get away by saying "as pulled out of the pack" which is a codeword for damaged, but not my fault.
The practical upshot of this is that, just as a "good" quality card from long ago is hard to find (and practically no NM), that any NM cards you do get, will be the ones worth money in the long run.

As for trade, be sure to put in the trade the quality of the card, so you don't get burned.

i just take it as how jersey cards are and dont really care if there is a crease... if it is on the front that is another story
