I think he is definitely a hero, people should be thanking him, and anyone who doesn't has been brainwashed by those he sought to expose in the first place.
Nothing short of hero to those living in the free world (for exposing how not free it is right now). HERO!

This guy is a joke. There is nothing wrong on the agencies listening to phone conversations and all that if they are doing it the legal way which in this case they were. They had a court order to take care of it. In any case, they have been doing this for a long time and everybody knows about it. I am not doing anything wrong so there is nothing for me to worry about.
I guess I have to delete those compromising videos and pic from my computer and phone....lol

I thought gathering mass amounts of data to sift through was against the constitution. They aren't tar getting certain people, they're sifting through everything. I don't know about the morality or right/wrong of the situation, but it seems to me this is illegal.

I think the legalese is that the gub'mint isn't accessing your phone or email records, it's accessing the phone companies' and email companies' business records, which those companies allowed them to do.
