    The Zimmerman Trial

    not really looking to stir up a huge debate, just wanted to see some of your opinions on the case. I personally dont think the state proved their case. And is it just me, or is this judge completely biased against zimmerman?

    A guilty verdict of any kind will be a travesty of justice. There isn't a single shred of evidence to disprove Zimmerman's version of events.

    Zimmerman has shifty Pig-eyes. I cannot look at the guy's face without seeing death. His eyes scare the beejeezus out of me. Lol

    I believe he is 100% guilty of manslaughter.

    Proving anything other than that is very difficult.

    I don't see how you can even prove manslaughter. A manslaughter conviction would mean the prosecution has to prove it wasn't self-defense. There is no evidence to disprove a self-defense claim. Even the state's witnesses are providing evidence to corroborate Zimmerman's story.

    I agree with habs, I think they're gonna have an extremely hard time (even if he is guilty) to prove that he is guilty.

    The case really comes down to what happened after Zimmerman was told to not follow Martin. Did he stop, or did he keep following him? I don't see how that can be proven one way or the other.

    Also, following the trial, it's really sad how much this has been made into a racial issue. I expected as much, though.

    Everything I have heard from the lawyers following the case say that this is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the confrontation itself. It is not against the law to follow someone. It is also not against the law to ignore a 911 operator.
