    made 40+ bucks doing nothing (ebay)

    A few hours before the news revealed mario williams as #1 draft pick I was bored and thought I would want a mario williams auto. Here it is for 13.50. Now that same card is selling for 50+ on buy it nows

    Very nice.. Although I dont think your going to see that big of jump in everybodys auto. a lot of the big names WILL have rises in their prices now that the team collectors got to start getting everything of that person.

    how does everyone think the secondary market will look considering most of the draft was defense? Defense isnt what fetches the big change

    well my Jets took a LT @ #4 and a C @ #29. Not exactly what I was hoping for as far as card collecting goes. No resale value in those positions imo. Yes, I always look for the best investments and it is about the money to me.

    lots of people kid themselves that it`s not about the money. I stopped that decades ago. Goes for just about everything in life. No one buys a house they can`t resell, or a car they can`t trade in for a good value. Same goes for the trading cards. We all collect these things for the future investments, be it selling them off eventually or leaving them to children/grandchildren.
