I collect to collect. If I make some money off cards I Didn't need but still the market says $$$$, good. Then I will I put it back into my cards and get what I really want.

well i collect to collect also, but id be lying if i said money had nothing to do with it. my favorite players happen to be the ones that are fetching the big bucks and i always collect the rookies and the ones who don't have immediate breakout seasons i just tuck them all away in one container and then later on down the road when i hear about, for example, derek lee in the running for the triple crown and being a primetime player, i jerk out the rookies and pick out the ones whos value have went up and put em into my boxes. i also like having an impressive collection and i like to know that im not spending money with nothing really to show for it.
