What Kobe does on the Court is truly amazing, that should be enough to earn some respect

I've always hated the Lakers, Cowboys, and Yankees. No matter who is on the team. Plus I don't like Kobe, never have, and never will. He's a great player, I won't deny it, but I just don't like him. Can't explain it, I just don't.

I've never liked the Lakers. I don't like Kobe and Phil Jackson. But I'm impressed. Phil is a top 5 coach in the league. What he's done with the team this year is amazing. Kobe's developed into an MVP candidate and excels in Phil's system. If I wanted to count on someone to make a last second shot I would pick Kobe. This coming from someone who hated him in their championship years and still dislikes him. Look at his two shots on Sunday. Proof!

I used to like Kobe. But then he got cocky. I guess he's always been cocky but now its ridiculous. You know, MJ was never cocky. He knew what he could do, and he knew he was about to beat you. But he was never cocky about it.
But yeah Kobe is very, very good.

MJ was never cocky. He just knew was he could do. And even if he was cocky, he earned that right. Being the greatest ever.

Well yeah, I can see where youre coming from with the wagging finger from Jordan....But Jordan did wag the finger AFTER Mutombo wagged it at him. Which is one of MJ's greatest moments. Dunking on Mutombo and wagging his finger to mock Mutombo for wagging at him earlier.
And i think Jordan's confidence and the fact that he knew what he could do gets mistaken for cockiness(sp).
