Does the price of admission, cover the cost of having security in the parking lot to ensure that our vehicles are still there when we leave?
Should have just moved it south a few blocks into Forest Lawn. That way, instead of 80% of the collectors in the city not attending, you could have gotten it into the 90% range.

Show is still on this weekend. We have secured four autograph guests for the weekend including 3 Stanley Cup winners and one of the top prospects in the 2014 NHL draft. Listen for our radio ad running through Saturday on Sportsnet 960 in Calgary.
The Clarion Hotel and Conference Centre is located on 16th Avenue which is also the TransCanada highway. The location is often used by large corporations and organizations so please ignore bdiam's scare tactics. But since bdiam has attempted to sabotage this show, to address her concerns, we did learn that the hotel, as all hotels do, has a security guard on site 24/7.
We are down to having only one table left so if anyone is interested please email us at [email protected].

Sweet, thanks for the update. My wife and I have a rental property in Mayland Heights only a few blocks from this hotel and the area is very safe.

Scare tactics and sabotage? - have you been watching those reality paranormal shows again?
Bossa put on large shows in Calgary for many years and almost every one, was a huge success (ie) huge turn-out, quality dealers setting-up, five-star HOF's doing autographs etc. In each of these cases, the shows were held at the Deerfoot Inn Casino, which happens to be in the South. The one show where things didn't go "so smoothly", was held in the NE (ie) much lower turn-out and a few problems with people's vehicles on the Friday evening. Now, you can spin things however you like but facts are facts.
As far as "scaring" people from attending this show, no such thing - diehard collectors will go to a decent card show, no matter what the weather is or where it is located. My point, was simply that more people will attend a show when you have it in a better part of town. Nice deflection though. Have a good show.
