Is there a Graded card value multiplier???

well, the beckett DOES list graded values.. you just have to do a tiny bit of math. in the beginning section it lists what % of original BV the card is graded depending on BV.. so if it books for $10 and its NrMt and the beckett says it's worth 200% if it's NrMt, then it'd book for $20.

Not really. It depends on which company grades it a NrMt or Gem, etc. A FGS Mintis not worth same as BGS Mint, or even close. Just my two cents worth.

well yeah i agree with that, im just assuming that the card he is talking about is either psa or bgs.. otherwise i wouldnt even worry about what the graded value of it is because its practically just a real nice holder for the card

I get what khaotic is saying and see how its application can apply to mint (BGS/PSA 9s), but what about GemMint?
I have a BGS9 Favre AP RC. Nongraded it's $15. Graded 9 it's $15-30.
I also have the same card BGS9.5. What's its value?

there really isnt much of a premium just because it's .5 higher unless its a really rare or really valuable card. for your card, for trading purposes id ask maybe $2-5 more on book value for a card in your particular range

how do you find the value for an alex rodriguez sp rc then? because bgs 10 is going for about 3 grand on ebay....

I assume the rule-of-thumb that khaotic mentioned (wrt 9.5s) refers only to those cards not specifically listed in Beckett magazine's graded price section.
Inserts, non-RC basecards, etc...

well, yea.. but they apply to those listed in beckett to. now a 9.5 would definitely bring a bit more of a premium than a 9.0 a-rod sp rc
