i gotta agree with asujbl....anytime i buy something on ebay, i look at it as a total $$ amt i am willing to pay (shipping included)....if im looking for a card, and i want to spend $8 for it, if someone has $3 shipping, i can bid $5....if someone has the same card with $2 shipping i can bid i bit higher
the same goes for my own auctions....i expect people to look at the cost of shipping and factor that into their final cost....it makes it tough to sell low end stuff, cause the least you can really sell something for is a penny, and say $3 shipping...so say $3....its hard to sell a $5 card or even a $10 card at that price....and if you have less shipping, you take a hit with all the fees (.40 for paypal, .20 for bubble mailer, ebay seller fees, .80 shipping....thats atleast $1.50)....im not saying jacking up the price of shipping is fair, but its not different having an item with a starting price of $.99 with $5 shipping or a start price of $3.99 with $.99 shipping (im not positive but i believe ebay's cut is based on the sale price w/o shipping!!) just my 2 cents

what is it with all the private biddrs. I'm beginning to think alot of sellers have alot of different accounts or have their friends bid to jack the prices up. I have asked ebay and no response. We need a better auction site that monitors that kind of stuff. I'm to scared to post on ebay as i also hear they rip you off on fees along with paypal. I don't know how true that is. Any help on this subject.

they dont "rip you off" the fees are clearly stated. As for private auctions, they are usually to protect the buyer on high $$$ items.
Ebay is a good thing if you're smart and not overzealous about buying on it.
I will gladly do listings for you, if you're willing to pay the fees from the final sale and compensate me in some way that is fair.

Just like the 1/1 thing. Since the new policy listing a card as 1/1 is a violation, unless its stamped 1/1. These "false" auctions have been falling off the planet at the speed of light.
