Nash and Malone have two MVP's and no rings, does that mean both of them are overrated?

I always find it amusing when people judge how good an individual is/was/will be based off of a team accomplishment.

Nope, because they aren't called the greatest players ever. The fact both players haven't/never won rings taints their legacy though, no doubt about it.Hidden Content

Hmmm, not sure I agree that if a player doesn't win a title, his legacy is tainted. Barkley is considered one of the best PF ever without a ring, if he had won a ring, he wouldn't be any higher on the list.

I dont feel rings define you as a all time great, i guess John Stockton and Malone are not all time greats, Barkley, Ewing.
Robery Horry must be a all time great becasue he has like 7 rings lol

Players who are superstar players are defined, specifically in Basketball, by how many rings they have.
Horry isn't a superstar, rings don't define him, but i'll say this: there's a reason he was called "Big Shot Rob"
