Canucks didn't really need a d-man, would've rather traded Weise for a forward or picks but this is probably the first trade of many before the deadline for the canucks. We are finally having a rebuild

Needed a right hand D man. Short term but could take Weber or Corrado spot. Canucks can't score so the move doesn't really make a difference. Weisse isn't a great player. null trade!

While I thought Diaz would bring a little more in, I'm not really disappointed nor satisfied.

I'll wait to see how everything plays out with the Habs this season, but the good news is that Beaulieu has cemented a spot. He's been energetic and added a lot of speed on the back end.

I liked Diaz though and would take him over Boullion ANY DAY

    It's a meh trade. Won't effect anything.

On a personal note, I'm at the point where I don't even want to watch them. Fire Therrien and get his prehistoric thinking outta here.

So far this trade was a steal for the Canucks. Diaz had more ice-time tonight than any other player on the team (25:26) and he scored the team's only goal!!!
However, I thought Weise played well for Montreal tonight. The Habs fourth line (White, Weise, and Bournival) had some good energy tonight. So much that Therrien pretty much rolled the lines.

Well, not a bad start for the new 4th line on the Habs.
