I ended up throwing out about three boxes worth a few months ago. It didn't even cross my mind at the time to donate them to charity (I wish it had!). My second child was on the way and I needed room, so bye-bye commons!

    A great use for commons

I teach at an inner-city elementary school in Baltimore and have been giving away all my commons as a reward for well-behaved kids. Actually, I went through all the ones I had so if anyone wanted to donate more they would sure love it. I could maybe even post a picture of some of the kids with the cards. I was suprised by how much they liked it and it was nice to see them enjoy the cards. Especially if it pushes out some of the Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards that has them all a little crazy these days.
