There's a dot on the body of the tack in the upper left corner on the real ones (part of the printing process)

can u define "body of the tack"? just to make sure im looking in the right area lol. Looked at a huge collection last night i might be purchasing, bunch of 80s full opc sets. Everything looks spot on except the Hull. Even when i flipped the page over the color was a shade brighter than the back of the rest

gotcha now, so would that mean this is possibly a PSA graded fake?

On Gretzky's RC there is a dot on his shoulder as well... But it is also on fakes, I had one fake one in for authentication with a dot and was confirmed to be a fake. If someone wanted to make a fake Hull wihth a dot they could easily do so. The best way to authenticate the card is to examine the cardstock, ink, edges to verify how it was cut, printing process, etc.

Andrew, scan the card at 600dpi and check to see if it was printed with a bubble jet printer or a printing plate. Bubble jets do not print straight lines, they are dotted instead. If there are dots around the black frame lines than it definitely is a fake. If the black frame lines are straight as a Phil Kessel wrist shot than it is printed with printing plates and a good sign it is genuine.

I would always look at the back and there is a thin vertical line through the 'T " ( cannot remember which one ) in his name.

If it is there 100% real IMO

At least 40-50% of all Hull authentic OPC Rookies are also blurry. The fakes are perfect, the real ones are blurry believe it or not. I've seen hundreds.
