Scott,
If you would like a baseball set. I have a near complete set of 2013 Topps chrome baseball you can have. It's missing 8 cards, but I'm pretty sure they're all commons.

Good luck on the Saban.... I actually just used a bunch of my CC, but I've sent a donation your way with what I had left.

Just a random Idea, how about something like this?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_red_paperclip
donate to buy a box of something, and then trade and build a larger collection. I would believe that people would trade with overlay since its charity.
Problems:
Time consuming
Inventory managment
shipping
no certain goal
scenario: the trade-list have a card I want. (worth 15$)
I then offer a similar value card+ a "double up" for charity + something to cover shipping
I red the paper clip article last night and just made the idea now and thought I could share it, I havnt thought it through so please dont kill me if its a horrible idea!

Scott:
Are you planning on running several auctions with the proceeds to go to BFA? If so, I can probably put together some reasonable lots for you and ship them your way.
I have always thought about say doing something like a Rookie Card of every year from say 1985-2005. 20 years of Rookies or something like that.
Let me know if I can help out in volumes of cards or even singles. I do have a 2005-06 UD Ice Regular Issue 1-90 collated cards in the Original Box that you can have. I might even have 2 of them, perhaps also another full years issue worth of cards.
Just let me know.
Cheers!
Tim
