they all seem to have extremely high odds against them, whether god creation, alien creation, big bang, human evolution, and so on

Anyways.....
Episode 2 was an introduction into natural and artificial selection.
All species on earth are connected, they all belong to the same tree of life, and all branches lead back to a common ancestor.
I think Neil said it best when talking about evolution....
"Evolution is a theory the same way that gravity is a theory.....it is scientific fact....yes, this really DID happen"

alex, how would all life on earth not be connected? everything has the same building material, it is obvious that everything in the universe and beyond is connected.
Democritus knew this back in 400 BCE, this is old news.
anyone could say this proves evolution or creation, but it proves neither.
