    Look for bits of browner wood colouring in the cream coloured back. The fakes are solid cream, and do not have the slightly darker wood flecks in the overall look.

    I know of another reprint of the Gretzky rookie that wasn't mentioned yet. It is part of the 2008-09 O-Pee-Chee Retro Base set. It is card #18.
