How many Cup RPA /99 RCs will be in this year's checklist and who do you think will make it?

Thinking there will be 6 /99s.

Mackinnon, Hertl, Yakupov, Galchenyuk seem like locks but who else will make it?

Will any rookie dmen make it like Jones or Rielly?

I think Monahan will be an /99, I don't want him to be...but, I can see it.

Same goes for Gallagher.


Other then that, I'm not sure who else will be.


It'll be a stacked break, that's for sure though!

I wouldn't be surprised if in honour of the Double Rookie Class they upped the number of /99 RC's.

I could see them doing: Mackinnon, Yakupov, Hertl, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Monahan, Jones, and perhaps one or two more.

Remember, though, they have to build these cards as early as November so it's tough to say who they thought was good enough at the time.

I was kind of wondering about Huberdeau as a /99 Cup Rookie. Calder winner last year, huge disappointment this year, but when creating the cards was he still considered a guarantee SP Cup rookie? My wallet is hoping he won't be. I also wonder if there are so many rookies this year that they'd consider doing three levels of Cup rookies instead of the normal two. Maybe the SP /99, some at /149 and the rest at /249? Guess we'll have to wait for more news.

I wish Yakupov could play more or find a new team. Tons of talent. I would pick up his the cup rpa for the right price. It will be low at release. How much does everyone think Mackinnon will be.

I would think that they would do no more than 6 /99 and these are most likely the 6. (judging by products already released)

Mackinnon, Hertl, Yakupov, Galchenyuk, Barkov and either Tarasenko or Huberdeau.
