How does COMC work?
First time ordering cards from COMC, I ordered three different cards from three separate users but yet only paid one $3 shipping fee for the trio, how does that work? Seems like you can order how ever many cards you want from different users and have them shipped together, sounds to goo to be true.

Nope, not too good to be true. That's exactly what you do.
Could buy 100 cards from 100 different sellers, and it would cost you $3 to ship!
Sellers all send their cards to COMC first. When you buy the cards, they're being sent from a common location, so you only pay to ship once.

What I find to be tremendously useful is you can buy things and let them just sit in their inventory and request shipment whenever you like. I had stuff in their inventory for about 6 months before I decided to go on another little spending spree with them before requesting shipment.

I have used comc numerous times with no issues at all. If you have any questions send a message to the staff and they will get back to you quickly! Very good customer service.

Yes, their customer service is amazing. Just an edit to my previous post...I believe you have to set up an account and buy "COMC dollars" to do what I said. It's really no big deal as you can get any unused amount refunded to you. That will also allow you to send best offers. It's an awesome alternative to ebay for low-mid end stuff.

You don't need to use the the 'COMC dollars'. You can just put items into your shopping cart, and pay via paypal on the spot. Of course then you can't make offers (you need money in your account to make offers.... for example, if I'm selling a card for $2.00, and you offer me $1.50, then the $1.50 is taken from your account instantly. If I accept, I get it. If I decline, you get your $1.50 back right away).
Also, if you wait for shipping... until you've got 100 items to ship (well, 100 items shipped inside a month) you get a $5 store credit. So by waiting for larger shipments, you basically get free shipping and a couple of bucks to spend!

Wow, I don't know how I let such a site slip buy me all this time. I knew COMC existed but didn't know this was their business model, this is going to do wonders for my set building!

You're not going to find the greatest prices for base cards if you're looking to complete base sets. I have used sportlots.com for base cards. You have to buy from individual sellers there...so i don't think you get any kind of multiple-seller-combined-shipping kinda deal, but base cards are a reasonable price there. I bought a stack of artifacts base to finish my set from that site, all from the same seller, at 18 cents a pop.

Here's the thing with pricing on COMC:
As a seller, it costs me 25 cents (now, for a while the Canadian Pilot was only costing 20 cents) per card to list. COMC also include a 25 cent processing fee in the price of the card the first time it sells (if I list a card, and you buy it for $5.... I'm only getting $4.75 of that). If you then want to re-list it for $8, you'd get the whole sale price..... as would anyone who wants to resell it afterwards. That fee is only charged once.
Anyway, the point I was trying to make: When you consider a 25 cent charge is being added to a card, and it costs 25 cents to list.... you realize very quickly that it's impossible for any seller on there to list a card for less than 50 cents, and actually make money in the process. If you buy my card for 55 cents, I made a nickle on it. Sometime that's okay.... but just understand why the prices are what they are.
So, the other comments are correct. You're never going to get 18 cent base cards there. Their pricing model doesn't work for cards to be that cheap.

Totally agree. The fee increase has killed my sales. I have 1,000 items on there listed at under half book and hardly sell a thing. I stick to ebay for sales but would like to sell on here more once I have more feedback so I do not have to send first on cards I sell.
