Thoughts on Authenticating Jagr Rookie Auto
I got a 1991 Score French Edition Jaromir Jagr card which was signed by Jagr from a trader. He assured me it will come bac from JSA as authentic. It looks legit to me. Wondering if you guys think it is worth spending the 30 bucks to get the thing authenticated and graded (card is in 8.5 or better shape), based only on potential resale value. Thanks for the input.

I truly doubt you would get your money back on that.

In some instances getting a card signed may even decrease the value on the secondary market, although I don't think it will here seeing as unsigned they sell for $1-2. Personally though I try to stay away from IP autos unless its something for my PC, they aren't worth it if you are selling them I find. Just my opinion though. If you spent an additional $30, I would say you would probably lose money if thats what you are concerned about (assuming you paid for the cards you traded away in some way). If you are concerned for your own collection though, as to if it is real, then by all means do it. Having that "what if" feeling is annoying. I have a Modano TTM auto that I think is fake, and it's bugged me for ages.
There is a few on eBay with a BIN/BO at $45, and they look to have been on there for a while, if that gauges your price point at all. The fact that there hasn't been an accepted offer on several of them makes me feel that this is a high estimate. Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

Nope. I would not bother, unless you can get in on a bulk deal and pay less than $15.00 bucks. Even then, nope.
