Whoa...Havent been on SCF in a while....RL has taken me away from my hobby for a while....
2 tough games...Kings pull out 3 OTs in a row after being down 2-0 in those same games....not good for anyone's heart....
Quick is nowhere close to his 2012 level but he is keeping them in games...
I think Kings defense and slacked off a bit and forwards sometimes get lazy coming back to defend thinking Quick will make every save.
I also think the officiating has been off throughout the playoffs....some obvious calls not made but the ones they call, you're like "™™™!?!?!? - That's a penalty"
Big controversy on the King's 3rd goal...could have gone either way...Ref was watching it the whole time from the corner. Refs said McDonagh caused the play to happen.
Missed a high stick to Richards face in OT. Carter got Goalie interference but Lundqvist sold that with an academy award performance. Brown embellished one penalty with no call, but the inconsistency has been throughout the entire playoffs.
We hear plenty of Player discipline but never hear about officiating discipline....Would be nice for public to see Refs get fined or taken off playoffs due to a bad call or non-call. I think they would be less criticized for the job they do.
Go King Go!

He's very close. That blocker save on the Kreider overtime breakaway is one of the greatest I've ever seen anywhere. Watch the replay, it's almost required, as the save is that hard to see, the puck is shot so quickly, and the blocker is flashed even faster.Last edited by centrehice; 06-09-2014 at 03:57 PM.

He turned it on in the 3rd and Overtime but just saying in this playoffs, he has been in 2012 form....but he has kept them in games and made some awesome saves....
Kings are Complete opposite from regular season...and not easy to get used to
Kings were on of the worst offensive teams with 2.2something per game and was #1 in defense...
This playoffs...not so good on defense and #1 in offense with 3.5 goals per game

One extraordinary save per game in the Stanley Cup Finals, can win you a Conn Smythe as a goaltender, on either side of the red line.
It's twice as tough as a skater to win won.

It is over. Those two wins will give them all the momentum they need for another 2 wins. Congrats Kings.

The Rangers were wrote off against the Pens and they turned it around. This is a very steep climb but they have played well.Hopefully when I am at game 4 it is not an elimination game

While I'm certainly not handing the series to the Kings, I am a little unsure now about my prediction of Rags in 6. If they could just hold a lead!

I had absolutely given up on the Rangers when they were down 3-1, they looked absolutely finished. In this series, they are actually playing quite well. 2 wins at MSG are not out of the question...
