lol, Chaosc. Did you ever watch the show "In living color" with the Wayens brothers? The line "Never underestimate the power of the handicapt" comes to mind

yes, ole booty boi seems to be itching for a fight and I can't figure out why. Maybe he is a failed athlete or something. He seems to have anger issues. Oh well. Onwards I go.
In Living Color was the Best.

Well, I admit that Roethlisberger should wear a helmet because of who is and what he means to a huge organization. But riding without a helmet isnt as bad as it sounds. Yeah if you do wreck, its bad. But wearing a helmet makes it to where you cant see everything and hear everything. Alot of people have gotten in wrecks beacause they didnt hear a car honking, or couldnt see out of there preferal(sp) vision. Also, alot of motorcycle enthusiasts are willing to take the risk if it means more of a free feeling. So its not as "crazy" as everyone makes it sound.

hey rick...they also ran a segment of a ben interview from last year (after the winslow incident, when ben was getting criticism for riding at all) in which he talks about a conversation with cowher...cowher asked him if he rode, and if he wore a helmet...ben said he didn't wear a helmet...cowher's response: "just be careful"....doesn't seem to me that the steelers were to concerned about his off-field activities, when they should have been...there are alot of players who have specific activities (riding cycles, bungee jumping, skydiving, water skiing, other water sports, etc) that they are not allowed to participate while under contract...that was my point.

theproudestmonkey: if you listened to wha else cowher had to say he also said he knew Ben is young and i don't want to tell him what to do...really he's young would he have really listened? oh and it also said that Ben is aloud to Ride his bike during the off season but not during the season

I understand that was your point but the vagueness of the wording in his contract is enough for the Steelers to not have to pay him if his career would have ended because of this and him getting the injury in a non football activity.
