all im saying is he IS a young guy...he said the reason he rides helmetless is "cause its not a law" he said he wears his football helmet cause "it is a rule"...well guess what, maybe if the steelers organization would stated that he couldn't do any of this, he WOULD have listened to their rules...why let your young franchise QB make that decission when you could make it for him? its obvious the guy is a partier (i got some great pics to prove it...ask if you wanna see them)...if i was a coach/gm/owner, i would not have let it get to this point.....
however, aparently ben isn't supposed to ride AT ALL!!....just reported that he doesn't even have a PA motorcycle license!!

i think when Ben recoves alittle more and he's at a good mind state he'll be having a good talk with cowhers and the owners and maybe even his team...He's gotta relize that he's the steelers leader and he's got to be smart...we don't want a jay williams of football so he better watch what he does

Dude,
I didn't come on here to start a fight with you. I came here and have been here to talk and trade football. By the way, the Packers need more help than A.J. Hawk will provide.

Maybe that is how he should live on the edge instead of riding. You know "Breaking the Law, Breaking the Law!"

WOW - I didn't know about the no-license thing, that could be huge.
As for the no helmet on motorcycle thing, here are a couple things to keep in mind:
We ALL pay $66 million a year in extra insurance premiums, fees and taxes to pay for people who are injured in motorcyle crashes who were not wearing helmets. By the way, they can't take care of themselves at all. As in can't wipe the drool that is forming constantly on their chins. Just for that fact alone we should have a mandatory helmet law in this country.
I hate the, "it's my right to be free argument." That's bull, when your "freedom" starts raising my HMO rates... it's over.
Plus - nobody has a "right" to anything behind the wheel, or handlebars.
The government owns the roads and makes the rules. So strike the "it's my right argument" now.
*(see also the old argument against seat belt laws)
20 years from now, people will look back and laugh at the days when we didn't have helmet laws, much the same way we now wonder how anyone lived with smoking in restaurants, no seat belt laws, kids in the back of a pickup, and bicycle helmets.
So, Big Ben clearly should have been wearing one but keep this in mind:
THIS GUY LIVES ON THE EDGE AS A MATTER OF PRACTICE
Sure, I would wear a helmet on a bike, I also wouldn't do a job with 350lb guys trying to kill me as a daily matter of course. By definition these guys (athletes) are going to be a little "off" in comparison to you and me.
That's what got them where they are, it's not just stuff you can get in a gym or in practice, you have to be a little nuts to be an athlete.
