Lost mail?
I'm sure this issue has come up numerous times on this forum. I did a trade with a member two days shy of a month ago and have not received my cards. I know that the member has sent his end and we confirmed that he sent it to the right address, essentially my question is, if the cards were lost in the mail, which appears to be the case, can anything be done? I put in a "ticket" on the Canada Post website:
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have documented your concern and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will not contact you further on this issue."
ummmmm, k, thanks CP. So I guess its safe to assume that CP's policy on lost mail is: "to bad, so sad"?

That is very unfortunate. I've had a couple situations where it seemed as though cards were lost only to have them show up in a plastic bag because they'd be stuck in/behind the roller machine. Miraculously they survived intact. Can always cross your fingers but I wouldn't hold out hope.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

You won't receive any compensation from Canada Post unless the item was insured.
Lost mail unfortunately happens, but if I was in the other guy's shoes I would be sending you something else...to me, you're always responsible for upholding your end of a trade regardless of circumstances.

I don't know about lost packages, but for one of my recent trade, it took 2 WEEKS for a package to get from Ottawa to the Montreal region.

Had a trade with a member, believe him completely that he sent his end, package never came and it's been over a month. He's got good feedback so I trust him, but just waiting for him to check SCF again ahhaha
