Exclamation Need help building a website? HTML? Making a TradeList?

I keep looking at people's tradelists that dont know anything about HTML and their list is one BIG paragraph.

If anyone has any questions about building/editing their webpage or TradeList or how to make it any better, post your questions and we'll help each other out here.

Any tips on a beginner using dreamweaver. I designed my first site using Front page ( www.deucesofdiamonds.com ) but I was told dreamweaver is better and easier.

I definitely prefer Dreamweaver. I have the entire Macromedia Suite and love it. There's so much to use. There's flash buttons and everything you could need. I think it's a lot easier than Frontpage and creates much more professional looking sites. Frontpage makes some cheesy sites, I think. If I were you, I would invest in Macromedia.

Also - Read any tutorials you can find or the Help option in Dreamweaver. There's a lot of things in the program that you wont discover. You need to be told that they're there.

The site you did was basic. But it wasnt bad. It wasnt flashy. It was the best you could. Not bad. The Dreamweaver you have will be great for you. I recommend getting a book on it and going through it extensively. It'll get easier everytime you use it.

here is a great source for getting help with the issues you are currently having.

I also recommend not using design mode in dreamweaver untill you understand what you are doing and how it is beind done.

I was reading that I can download and edit my site that I already have but couldn't figure out how. Also darth how do I know what mode I am using and would you recommend starting from scratch and designing a whole new site? I'm basically trying to make a site with a cart for my box sales that I sell on here and want to include it with what I already have on my site for my other business.
