What would you give up from your team's current assets to land Drouin?

I am not even sure this is the players request as it seems his agents is the one who been stirring the pot to get trader. As J.D. has no leverage to demand something as it will be a whole before his contract expires. Can he remain injury free, is his rookie campaign enough for one yo look at his upside, or could he demand another trade when he ends up with your team won things are not progressing as they should. The life of bring a GM I do not envy at all.

I think this would be a good pickup for the Pens. They need to get younger. I think Maybe you can package Pouliot and or Perron to start. I am horrible as to what it takes on trades.

why would Tampa want Bernier? They have Vasilevskiy in the wings to take over when they have to deal Bishop.


this reminds me a lot of the Cody Hodgson scenario in Vancouver and he was dealt for Zack Kassian. Look for a similar type of a deal, where there is another team that is looking to deal off an asset that is not working.

My guess, Colorado for Nikita Zadorov, which opens Tampa to deal off Matt Carle for a puckbag just to rid themselves of that cap hit.

For the Oilers? Wouldn't want him. Already enough high pick / under performing players. If they wanted to give him away..... sure.... and then find somewhere else to flip him to, but I'd have zero interest. Doesn't do anything to help.

I could see Colorado making a push to get him though. Have him and MacKinnon reunite.



Really makes you wonder what's going on in Tampa though.... he wants out, and Stamkos looks to be on his way out.
