As a side note, it is amazing that Prosser came from no where. Never even being the best player on any of his teams and becoming an NHL "regular." To me, his career has become just as respectable as Paully Martin. That's two pretty good Dmen from a little town wedged between 169 and 10...

I know! I was so thrilled for him when he scored the OT game-winning goal on Hockey Day Elk River a few seasons back. Couldn't have scripted it any better. That said, I'm tired of buying team sets with no Prosser cards in them. OPC didn't even have Brodin in this year's set!

Time to contact DNJ and have some customs made. Buy an extra Prosser stick and have DNJ make a custom "property of/stickrack" style card. Might tide you over while you start a new pc.

Now there's an idea. I wouldn't mind even some base cards. Might even be cool to have a "throwback card" featuring his junior days in the USHL!

If you contact DNJ, he can make pretty much anything. The stuff he does with customs are incredible. So if Prosser is missing a key RC (YG, FW Auto, Cup Auto/Patch, etc.) see if he'll make one for you. I did that with my USA YG project, some of the bigger names never had a YG (Pacioretty, Quick, McDonagh, etc.) so I had him make custom YG's with the design of their respective year. Get some customs made.

Just keep doing your regular searches and hope stuff pops up. Stempniak & Clutterbuck get OPC & UD if I'm lucky each year, especially with Panini gone.

Other advice is keep building a Team PC. You may not find a lot of Prosser cards, but I'm sure plenty of people have Wild stuff available. My other option would be to start some sort of a set. I'm not saying go out and build a Master Set of OPC right away, but for example I'm currently working on 3 projects:

15-16 MVP Territories, 15-16 UD1 Game Jerseys, and a Team USA YG Project. It keeps you looking for new things and keeps trades flowing while you can't find other stuff to pick up. After all if people want something from my tradelist and I only accept Stempniak & Clutterbuck in return, well not many trades would get accomplished.

Try tracking down game used jerseys. You have home, road, alternate/third, etc. Get one of each. Then try to find a college/junior jersey or something. NHL.com is now auctioning off goal pucks on a regular basis. Maybe you can find a puck he scored with once -- that would be a really nice piece.

Can you post up a pic of the Pacioretty? That sounds pretty sweet.
