    King kuba summed it up very well. Hype sells the best, but outside of the that a player needs to be doing special things to keep or increase in value. Think of thoe old saying "what have you done for me lately". Really surprised Ovechkin can't even get to $150 CDN after scoring 500 this year. Where the 02-03 YGs short printed?? I know that the exclusives only had /75 then, today they are /100.

    02/03 was the only year for SP'd Young Guns, pretty sure only in Series 1. Big guys are Zetterberg / Nash

    Young Guns are the bread and butter rookies. For HOF or HOF potential players there will always be buyers for them.

    I think on ice performance can help young guns. Look at Patrick Kane right now. Not long ago you could get his YG for $40-50us. Now they sell from $90-110us. He is having a great year and people are buying his YG's.
