I worked on this last year. OPC Platinum dries up fast. Lots come up a lot less frequently and then it gets to a point where you accumulate too many doubles when buying lots.

I got to just over 600 cards before calling it quits ..... the cards just dried up here as well, or people were wanting an arm and a leg for $1 parallels.

My master set included: ( 200 in each set )

    - Base
    - Rainbows
    - Traxx
    - White /199
    - Red /135
    - Blue /65
    - Gold /50
    - Black /25

Was almost at 40% when I called it quits, with completed Base and Rainbow sets ..... along with very big dents in White / Red / Blue ( almost 70% of white and red were completed, maybe 50% of blue ).

I suggest picking a color or 2 you really like and go from there. The traxx are very nice looking and do fall 2 per box ( not to mention are the cheapest ).

Once you figure out which Platinum route to go shoot me a PM, have a good 20 - 30 parallels right now ( with a nice amount of decent Traxx RCs ) and there are a ton I can pick up in that $1 - $1.50 range at my LCS.

EDIT - I forgot to mention how hard the Blacks in 14/15 were to come buy. I only have about 25 - 30 of them ........ not to mention a pretty big money guy is going after the Emerald set right now as well

Thanks for the heads up! After i posted about doing the master i looked deeper into the checklist and realized i would be way in over my head so slimmed the platinum and down. Decided to just go with what i posted below posted below and then about 8-10 other sets i like

    2015-16 O-Pee-Chee Platinum
Traxx - Need all Base 1-160, Marquee Rookies M1-M50,
    Superstars - Need all 1-18
Team Logo - Need all 1-36
Trophied Talent - Need all 1-10

@canucksfan007 Yes those Black parallels were killers! Took me months to find a Price for the collection, and luckily for me @30ranfordfan has a COMC account or I would have paid even more for it than I did thanks to the stupid eBay Global Shipping Program.

This year though I've already managed to pull 2 Purple /25 and land the Price in short order.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

    :)

    That's what COMC is for!

Since they added the mailbox option, the cash saved using them is great.... I don't pay the high shipping costs, and the final value of auctions (IMO) is significantly lower than it would have been, because the high ship costs scares people away.
