Don't get me wrong. I love Tim Duncan. Plays with class, goes about his business, and puts up 20-10 every night. He's my top post player if you look at my list. I did say in my list I like swing players. I just think a 2 or a 3 has more skillz.

i too think there is a pretty big gap between wade, lebron, kobe and the rest of the field... It does amaze me though that carmelo is so high on so many lists... i dont think he is top 25 IMO... he has a lot of hype surrounding him but look at how the rest of his draft class has exploded... all except Darko

I was not a Carmelo fan for a long time. But I think he re-dedicated himself in 05/06, and with Team USA. Coach K (of Team USA) said he was most impressed with Carmelo. I think he wants to be in the Kobe-Lebron-DWade group.

Carmelo avereged about 27 ppg and was the only hope of high scoring on that team. He led the NBA with 11 game winners and really takes over at the end of the game. He's very explosive and is a team player. Just watch him in the Worlds, he's been leading the team in scoring almost every time while grabbing a few Rebounds and leading them in steals a few games.

Give him his props, he's leading that team.

i understand his stock may be going up but what place did they finish last year in a pretty weak division.... the thing in basketball that seperates the top from the bottom is leadership... all those guys on the list have it.... lebromn finally got it this year and look how much better that team was
