Need Some Help

I have these 2 cards that I am unsure about. I'm hoping you can help me. First, I have a 2005 Bowman Leroy Hill 1/1. I'm not sure if this is a true 1/1, due to the fact that I have not seen one like it before. 2nd, is 2015 Crown Royale Frank Clark. It has a big Red X through it. The guy I got it from stated he got it from a pack and called Panini. They had told him that it was supposed to be destroyed and not in circulation. I have tried countless times to contact Panini myself, and have yet to talk to anyone. Just looking for some insight if anyone can help with these. Thank you

Don't know why the Frank Clark should have been pulled since others exist without the red X. I've heard of cards being pulled like this but they would do it for the whole print run not for just a random one.

Also I'd say that 1/1 Hill is fake unless it was a replacement copy or something because the 1/1 cards from that set have a goldish border not the silver like your card and they don't have the 1/1 stamped on the front.

I just did a quick look on eBay and saw a DeMarcus Ware card similar to the Leroy Hill. I did see the gold 1/1's you mentioned. The 1/1 on the Hill appears to be a sticker. I may try to contact Topps for info.

The Clark card... I just don't know. The thing I forgot to mention was the scuff above his right hand. I was told that due to that scuff, it was marked with the X to be destroyed. I wish I could get in touch with Panini to verify this.
