I think I'm in the minority here, but I really like hand-numbered cards. It sets things apart from the serial numbered stamped stuff, and really gives it that personal touch. Perfect for those beautiful Mega Patches.
I personally don't have a problem with UD doing this, though I know others do. Ans that's cool.Last edited by creasecollector; 08-06-2017 at 12:52 AM.

I find this very odd:
Base Set 35 Marcus Johansson Washington Capitals 399 Random Inserts in Packs
For some reason they find him important enough to be singled out as one of the 40 non-rookie base cards out of all the players in the NHL. He is not important enough to be included in ANY OTHER cards in the set. But he made it into the base set, over guys like Joe Pavelski, Tyler Seguin, Ryan Getzlaf, the Sedins, etc, etc. Hell, there are a handful of guys on his own team that should have been included before him (Backstrom, Holtby, Kuznetsov,...).
Now, I am all for including more players in each set. I have always had a problem with such short player lists. But why (for such a premier set) would you include someone in the base set, and not anywhere else in all the different subsets? But the bigger question is, if you are going to have players in the Base set and that is their only card, why wouldn't you make the base set larger? I don't really have a problem with players not having subset cards (just like every other card set). But if you are going to do that, why only a 40-card base set? Doesn't make sense to me.SHARKS and CAPITALS Fan +++ Tomas Hertl cards: 512 & counting Hidden Content ...... Hidden Content

Quick note for everybody, from UD:
Worthy of note, Auston Matthews’ autograph rookie content appears in the product as redemption exchange cards. However, Upper Deck is pleased to report Matthews was recently able to sign and return his autograph cards so they will be available for fulfillment very quickly.
