Are the Texans RETARDED!!!!!!!!
ok let see, almost everyone and i mean everyone thought reggie bush was going to be the first pick of the draft, then the texans go ahead and draft mario williams!!! why!!??!?!? are they f-ing stupid!! the hype alone on reggie bush is enough to make him the #1 pick to satisfy the fan base. even if the texans decided to draft vince young there wouldnt be hardly this much disgust. there is absolutely no reason to justify the mario william pick, none at all!!! remember michael jordan was drafted third, Olajuwon first and sam bowie second. reggie bush has shown that he can return punts, kickoffs, run the ball, and catch the ball. almost everyone thought he was one of the best player to ever come out of college, even mike vick didnt have this much hype. here's the kicker if you said the texans was afraid to bush being a flop and didnt want to invest that much in him, mario williams got virtually the same contract as reggie bush. they called it a "football decision"!!! you have got to be sht-ing me!!! that is not even remotely valid, if they drafted a QB like vince or matt then you can make that argument!!! everyone saw this coming the moment the texans made the announcement that they were going to pick mario, texans fans should riot and boycott the stupidity that is the front office. to add insult, the GM that made the decision to pick mario quit as soon as he destroyed the franchise with that pick. not only that the owner signed off on the pick!! the GM cant be held responsible for this since he already quit!!! the entire front office should be fired for this retarded pick. No we dont have to wait 3 years to find out who made the right pick, we already know what bush can do!! the only question is, how much better can he get?? the houston texans will be forever remembered for this act of stupidity!!! everyone knew going into the draft, reggie bush should have been the first pick and rightfully so!!! was there EVER a worst move ever in sports!!!! [Olajuwon was a good 1st pick, sam bowie was a good player and the blazers didn't need a guard they had someone named Clyde Drexler, so it made sense to draft a center, but still considered one of the worst moves in sports history] But this reggie bush move has that beat! this is officially the worst move in sports history!! we know reggie bush is the real deal!

i agree, reggie bush might not have the unbeliveable stats cuz of deuce, but he is just one of those guys that are gamechangers and those kind of players come along just once in a while, but i wouldnt go labeling what the texans did a "sam bowie" draft mave. Give Mario Williams time, i think he will be a perrenial pro bowler, the only thing is not many people see a sack or quarterback pressure as exciting as a 50 yard td run.

It's like the owner of the Texans said. They want to win. And in order to win, they have to beat Indy. Reggie Bush won't beat Indy. They need defense. Hopefully, with Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans (among other changes), they can put together a solid core to do just that.
Will it happen this year? Probably not. Will it happen eventually? More than likely.
I'm happy with Mario Williams, although I agree that they could have traded down and gotten him with the 4-5th pick or perhaps lower.

honestly bush wont be in the league more than 5-6 years hes too small and will get punded by 3 great defensive teams a year in carolina, atlatnta, and tampa bay. i saw him against cleveland and people are out to get him he wont last long just watch and see.

I love this line.
1. I hate to be one of those people who puts too much stock into the happenings of Week 1, but I think yesterday's action proved once and for all that the Texans screwed up by picking Mario Williams over Reggie Bush. Just look at the numbers. Total yards for Bush yesterday? An impressive 141. And for Williams? Zero yards. That's right, zero. Good job, Texans, you idiots.

i totally agree which is why he wont last long 6 ft 200 pounds at running back in that division no o line just aint happening (and dont pull that well warick dunn can do it uh he has an incredible offensive line) whichis why the texans drafted mario williams in the first place for long term like a strahan or something i mean you got to beatthe colts to get anywhere in that division andunlessreggie was gonna line up at de it was the right choice.

The way I see it is this.
Why would they pick a RB when they already have one that is pretty good (not great but pretty good, plus they didnt know Davis was going to get hurt). The lions do that with WR's and look where they are.
Also, if Barry Sanders cant make a team win, then why would Reggie Bush? It takes more than one player to make a team win, not just the best player in college.
