    Draft Lottery Discussion Thread

    Well the top three picks are going to be Buffalo, Carolina, and Montreal. We will find out the order in the second intermission of the Knights-Sharks game.

    Obviously as a Habs fan I’m more than a little excited about the prospect of Dahlin or Zadina. Both would be immediate impact players. And I’m sure @scottkoz20 is eagerly thinking the same for his Sabres.

    Watch Arizona get #1. Because Arizona needs another face-of-the-franchise blue-chip prospect to go with all the ones they gathered over the years. The NHL didn't get the "match made in heaven" with Auston Matthews going to the Coyotes, but it would not surprise me in the least if the order is:

    1. Arizona
    2. Buffalo
    3. Montreal

    It still won't help the Coyotes if they win though

    The oilers won’t get to pick first so I am happy. If the Habs puck #1 they could be dangerous next year. I am hoping it’s Buffalo that gets the #1 pick.

    i am saving my pennies in hopes we can run down to Dallas and go to the draft fan fest. I want to touch the cup again. Twenty years ago when I got to hold it you didn’t have cameras on the phones in your pocket to take a picture of everything so I have no photo of me to prove it and the friend who was with me has passed away since that happened so my kids don’t believe I have held the Stanley Cup and I need to right this wrong
