Finding error cards
I came across a 92 Tootie Robin's card that has Brett Favre's stats on the back. I can't find this error reported anywhere. How do I find out if I have something really special?20181019_192813.jpg20181019_192819.jpg

I'd check to see if there are any active or sold eBay listings, using a couple different search terms. You could also see if you can find some Brett Favre or Packer collectors and see if they are aware of the errors.

What brand is the card? Topps, Pro Set, Score? Like was mentioned before, try eBay sold listings. Maybe Google it as well to see if anyone else has a similar card.

These really aren't considered error cards in the hobby. These fall under the wrong front/back category. With these cards you do not nor will you ever know a print run. Many could be like this or yours could be the only one. The value is determined by who you have a combination of. Having a superstar like Brett Favre means yours would be on the higher end but collectors prefer if he was on the front with his picture and somebody else on the back with the stats since some collectors consider this a Tootie Robin card and not a Favre one.

I think it's still a cool card and I bet a Favre super collector would like to have it as part of their collection as an oddball but at best you'd probably get a slight premium in trade or selling based on book value. Now if this were a 1999 Finest card, I'd be all over an error like that.

Good eye for spotting that!
I've got a few hockey cards from the 1990s with the same type of error. Ultimately I guess it was just a matter of the uncut sheet of card fronts being misaligned or being rotated 180 degrees in the wrong direction when it was time to print the backs.
I've heard that oftentimes these sheets would just be destroyed or tossed out, and you'd think that would make the wrongback cards that do exist more valuable. But apparently not.
Still, they're very cool as far as I'm concerned, and if you don't keep them I'm sure you can find a collector who would be interested.

Ive picked up a couple of Rod Smith's over the years like this. Wrong player on the back or Rod is on the back of another player's card. Never paid more than a buck or two premium for them, but he was never the star Favre was.
Incidentally, I have a 1997 Playoff Zone with Favre on the front, and Carl Pickens stats on the back.

I got a whole box of 07 Classics and ALL the base were wrong fronts/backs. They had the name of the guy on the front that matched the picture but all the backs were wrong.
