    I find that placing them on odour absorbing wood chips work very well

    Was talking to my wife on this matter she said years ago she purchased a lot of football cards that came from a cigar smoker she placed them in a gallon zip loc baggie with some downy in a small cup and sealed it for a day and it seemed to work

    Have bought a few collections that smelled heavy of smoke..
    I have a large tote with a lid.Put an air sponge or even a dish of charcoal in the middle of it then take the cards out of the sleeve and loaders and stand up around the edge of the tote. Also lay some flat. Put the lid on for a couple of days and repeat the process until all the cards are done.
    I throw out the sleeves and loaders.

    I use Charcoal bags, the kind used to put in shoes and put the cards in a small tote with a couple of the bags. Works for musty smelling cards also.
