That Flair isn't that bad, but the Authentic baseball is for $140. that is why i have only gotten one box ever, which is where i have pulled my former matsui card bv 300.

Yeah, that's why I stay away from most high end - if you dont get anything, you just blow your money away; it's like gambling and then losing. Give me the collectability and affordability of sets like basic ol' Topps.

Hope this helps. I am in Afghanistan and you are in North America where the roads are paved, people aren't planting IEDs in the road hppng to blow you up. You don't have to wear an extra 40-70 pounds of weight to leave your house. Women can wear skimpy clothes and not be stoned to death. Education is looked upon favorably. I have a lot more but don't want to cry.

2005 Ultimate Collection Football....$100 per pack....Portis & Chris Chambers base, Marcus Maxwell RC, Antrel Rolle auto RC, and can't remember the last card. Totaled around $35.

2 boxes of 06 SP Legendary Cuts @ $110 each, and I did not pull jack.
1 box 05 Sweet Spot Classics @ $100 pulled a $25 HOF auto.
1 pack 06 SP Game Used @ $30 pulled Nate Robinson GU

But add up all the BASE cards and I'm sure you guys made your money!!!
Rarely buy wax anymore, but I've been burned buying on ebay as well.
Everybody knows not to buy 1 and 2 dollar lots, where they give you pictures of these awesome cards and then you get an 'envelope' with cards from that lot. I spent $60 bucks and bought 10 six dollar lots and the best card I got was a Jordan worth 4 bucks.
I did get packs of 89 score and 90 hoops though!!!
