Here's my answers:

1. Where did all these cards come from? Mostly from packs and boxes, plus trades.
2. How much time/money have I put into this? Best not to think too much about this. All disposable income though.
3. How much is all this worth now or potentially worth in the future? ( 5,10, 20, 30 yrs from now?) Not anywhere close to what the 'book' value is.
4. How much time/effort would it take if I did want to sell them all? Not enough time in one life, unless I regenerate a few times like the Doctor on Doctor Who.
5. What else could I have bought/owned instead? Likely would have just put more into RRSPs. Or maybe buy a small island.
6. What super high end card or cards could I have instead of all these? Maybe could have finished all my Canvas subsets.
7. What else could I have done with my spare time? Climbed Mount Everest. Deep-see dive in the Mariana Trench. Travel to both the North and South Pole.
