But of course, Michigan will POUND Ohio State with that amazing defense and high flying offense. Cry OSU fans, Cry...

I actually had this discussion yesterday. It'll be hard for the loser of those teams to stay ahead of Florida, if they run the table. Just because of strength of schedule, and Florida will be playing in the SEC championship game. The best hope is that WV, Louisville, and Rutgers (don't forget Rutgers, if they beat WV and Louisville and wind up undefeated, they have an outside shot at it) all go 1-1 when the 3 play.
Anyway, OSU looks awesome - their DBs are blazingly fast. That said, GO BLUE!

No doubt, Ohio State is good. But with Michigans defense and a steady dose of Mike Hart, we should be able to control the game.
Last time Michigan started 14th in the preseason was 1997, this year we started 14th. Last time we had two captains that were both from Michigan was in 1997, this year both of our captains are from Michigan. I thought those were two interesting facts.

Andrew actually hit it perfectly.. The big 10 doesnt have a championship game which will severly hurt there chances of having Michigan/Ohio st. playing for the championship... Not saying it couldnt happen but its highly unlikely.

While Ohio St. and Michigan appear to be the two best teams in college football right now I doubt they meet in the championship game. Having that regular season game scheduled against one another will pretty much knock one out of the national championship game, assuming they are both undefeated heading into it. Although the BCS system is all about the numbers so it is possible, just would be an odd twist to have the National Championship played twice essentially with the final one counting.

Have to support fellow Buckeye Dan.
It'll be a close game, but I think tOSU's offense is >> UM's defense while UM's offense is > tOSU's defense.
Of course, that's why they play the games, to setlle it once and for all. Welcome to the Shoe, Wolverines, for the biggest "The Game" ever.

Anyone remeber when the idea of having Notre Dame join the Big Ten was being tossed around? Why didnt that ever happen? If Notre Dame would join we could have two divisions, and have a title game. Notre is right there so its not a lot of travel, plus Notre Dame already plays like 4 Big Ten teams the way it is.
