So, rekindling an old topic here.

I think someone mentioned Jones Drew in either this thread or another. I watched highlights of the game on Sunday and he's an interesting player that from what I've seen and heard will be a good player in the years to come.

I'm leaning towards Jones Drew and Ryan Moats for sure. Still trying to figure out another player or 2. Ben Watson, Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Jamal Lewis are a few that come to mind.

I'd like to collect a tight end but not sure who's the better choice since they come and go so much it seems like.

Just wondering are you looking to collect a player that will bring much value if you decide to sell or are you looking to collect a player that you like and enjoy watching?

More just someone that I like, but I can't pick one person. I like watching a lot of players, but there's no one particular player that I want to collect just him and only him. I'm not a diehard fan like some, I like watching football on Sundays, any time I'll watch. So that makes it tough to pick just one. That's why I keep asking for help.

Jason Witten is a great, strong TE.. if the cowboys keep playing like they are and Romo keeps getting the ball to him he'll be even better and his rookie auto's are pretty cheap too

Some younger TEs you may be able to pick up for a reasonable price are:

    Jason Witten
    Chris Cooley
    Ben Watson
    Kellen Winslow Jr
    Dallas Clark

There are a few defensive players I'm interested. Most notably A.J. Hawk and Erasmus James. I love Hawk's intensity and desire for the game and his never quit attitude. James is a product of thee Wisconsin Badgers haha. So those are 2 guys I'd maybe go for. Only thing is, I hate the Vikings with a passion.

Another Aproach to take might be to pick a hometown favorite with a low demand. A player that locals like, but isn't overated. An example for baseball would be somone like Jason Varitek or Trot Nixon for the Boston Red Sox. If you found a player like that in football, you would be in good shape.
