Milking the Mascots

That's odd. It's a perfectly reasonable suggestion.

The fact that they put a mascot into the regular set is a little odd IMO (Gritty was an insert in another set, if I'm not mistaking). I think it speaks volumes about the depth of the current year's RC class though. Bouy is going to fall somewhere in the top half of the Series 2 YGs in terms of value. I'm sure they could have found another player to stick in there - but is there anyone they really missed? Keep in mind: They're going to pump another bunch of YGs out for Extended (granted, maybe that would have been a better place for Bouy).

Totally agree that they can do anything they want with Extended instead of have ruined Series 2 for those who have been putting the Series 1 and Series 2 YG RC sets together for a couple of decades
