lol, dont need the insults man!! i simply quoted what you wrote....and by sitting here talking about cards AND cars as the same (both collectibles), you ARE comparing them!! now, what part of that dont YOU understand?? trust me, i got plenty of schooling!! if i need to break it down for you, i will....the sole purpose of trading cards are as collectibles, you cant say the same for cars. you want to keep degrading the members in this post, that is fine!! trust me, all it takes is one look at your ebay auctions for people here to get an idea of what kind of "collector" you are, lol....90% of them are hot packs(ask around for the opinions the TRUE collectors here have about the scam that are hot packs)....get real man!!

You guys arent talking about the same type of "errors" here if a car has "flaws" on it, ie bent crossmembers, scratched hoods, ripped interiors; that makes them less valuable. If cards have chipped corners, scratched faces, fingerprints, that makes them less valuable.

Now in the card world, you have a #'d card, and its numbered to the guys jersey, it makes it more desirable (1/1 even)...if you have a 62 Chevy and it has a 409 (rare as hel!) it makes it more desirable, especially if say the car came in a color that wasnt supposed to have been done that year...this stuff doesnt happen very often, but yes Ive seen certain cars pulling in premiums with factory "errors". And now that Ive said this, I wont be able to find an example.

because someone puts a flawed or misprinted card on ebay and calls it a 1/1, and says HOO RAH A 1/1 IN LARGE COLORED PRINT, some "note i say some" collectors buy into that nonsense that it is desirable.
to the ones that said i compared cars to cards, stay in school.

Umm I actually collect hotwheels and the flawed ones (varations that slipped by production) carry a HUGE premium... I have to agree with everyone else, your argument is crazy. You can't compare apples to oranges

to be fair, every serialize card is indeed a 1/1 as there are no two exactly alike. In terms of the jersey numbers, that is an actual occurance that increases the value, I want to be able to find those when searching.
